Synopsis
Hold'em Hawk is an in-depth poker odds calculator and heads up display that makes it painfully easy to see whether you have the odds to call any bet to you. Its heads up display is color coded red, yellow, and green to make your decision-making process as easy as it can be. The number of outs you have for each hand is given along with the percent of the time you'll win with a certain hand rank. Session stats on the bottom of the screen show the relative tightness and looseness of your opponents, noting the VPIP, PFR, and PFA stats for each player. It's a must have for any serious poker player.

The sheer volume of information you get with Hold’em Hawk makes it an indispensable tool for winning online poker players. Here’s a rundown of what you can expect:
- A meter containing VPIP information gives you the looseness or tightness of the table in an easy to read display. You can change this to a data display if you prefer.
- The number of outs and the pot odds for every decision you have to make while playing. In addition, your “Playable Odds” are displayed, which are defined as cards that can improve your hand. Decisions in which your pot odds are greater than your playable odds are colored red (a no go). Decisions in which your pot odds are less than than your playable odds are colored green (a go). It’s a simple color scheme. Red means stop; green means go.
- A heads-up display will also contain odds information and the red-green color scheme, making it an easy cheat sheet that sits right in the corner of your online poker table.
- A chart showing the number of outs for each hand rank plus the percent of the time you’ll win with that hand given the board. It’s extremely helpful and updates instantaneously, meaning your decisions are almost made for you.
- Sessions stats at the bottom of the main display show the VPIP, pre-flop raise percentage and post-flop aggressiveness for each player while Hold’em Hawk has been running. It’s useful since you can see how loose or tight a player is and what their tendencies are after the flop.
Hold’em Hawk is fully customizable. You can change what information is displayed in the main console, when the HUD should begin giving you data, and some of the graphic displays.
