If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to protect your bankroll from your emotions, then check out Tilt Breaker. Yes, online poker can be difficult to bear sometimes. The ever-changing landscape of the industry coupled with players of all skill levels converging on the virtual felts can make any player’s day a nightmare. Enter Tilt Breaker.

As part of its latest update in April, Tilt Breaker, a standout piece of bankroll management software, added Single Table Stop Loss to its list of features. What does that mean, you ask? It’s pretty simple. Tilt Breaker allows you to set a maximum dollar value you can lose on a single table, or even set an overall maximum session loss. So, if there’s one table dragging you down, Tilt Breaker can potentially eradicate it from the mix.

That’s not to say you’ll fare any better, but at least you’ll give yourself a chance at success.

In addition, Tilt Breaker now boasts a feature that only allows you to have a certain number of cash game tables open at one time. Therefore, if your solution to tilt involves mass registering for other ring games, then Tilt Breaker will stop you dead in your tracks.

What if you tilt by simply moving up in stakes as opposed to opening more tables? Don’t worry. Tilt Breaker has that covered too through its revolutionary Bankroll Manager. Therefore, no matter how you tilt, this program will protect you from your own worst enemy… yourself.

Also included in Tilt Breaker’s update in April was the ability to set a Qualifying Peak. Text found in an e-mail sent to PokerSoftware.com explains how this new feature works: “Basically, the user has to reach the Qualifying Peak before the Stop Loss from Session Peak rule will be considered active. Essentially gives the user more customization and practicality in their Stop Loss rules.”

Therefore, whatever amount to you means a “winning session,” you’re guaranteed to quit before losing too much of it back.

Tilt Breaker’s Auto Break feature now supports every single game type, a feature already included as part of the software’s Bankroll Manager. When the Auto Break feature is activated, Tilt Breaker will sit you out of all tables and lock you out of trying to buy into new ones. You’ll quite literally be a bystander for a period of time and can focus your attention on an activity like mowing the grass.

You can set the Auto Break to kick in when you reach a Stop Loss Dollar Value, Stop Win Dollar Value, Stop Win: Big Blinds, Stop Loss: Big Blinds, Stop Hands Played, or Stop Time Played. In the latest update, the Auto Break’s start was amended to include a percentage drop from your Session Peak. Therefore, if you want to take a mental break after you’ve dropped 25% from your Session Peak, Tilt Breaker can make that happen.

Finally, while you’re engaged in a session, you now have the ability to create a rule to preserve your bankroll. However, Tilt Breaker developers cautioned, “The strictest rule will still apply, so there are no bypass loopholes here.”

By the way, Tilt Breaker uses a special Smart Lock system that treats cash game tables separately from tournament tables, so while you might be locked out of ring games, you can continue battling as normal in tournaments.

One of Tilt Breaker’s top features is a Rage Quit button that you can push when you feel yourself going off the deep end. Rather that spew off what’s left of your bankroll, you can gently press the Rage Quit button and you’ll be locked out for one of three lengths of time.

Tilt Breaker comes with a free 15-day trial, so take it for a test drive if it sounds like something that might help you better manage your bankroll. When you decide you’re ready to buy, then know it’s compatible with Absolute Poker, Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars, and UB.com.

At $49, Tilt Breaker is a bargain. Learn more about TiltBreaker.
