Holdem Manager has released its latest Internal Update, numbered 2.0.0.6708, which includes a slew of bug fixes and improvements for customers who enjoy this online poker hand history database program. Before we begin, it is important to note that an Internal Update means that individuals who decide to use the latest version of Holdem Manager should be aware that some bugs could remain.

The first round of build notes focuses on the HM2 Heads-Up Display (HUD) with the following issue resolutions. Prima and Microgaming hand counts showing up incorrectly when multi-tabling has been fixed and the ability to import player names from the HUD to your fish list has been added.

Extra live tracking options are part of the latest update, as is the ability to display your HUD only on your active table, which can be extremely useful for players who wish to limit graphics use on their personal computers. Support for iPoker four-max table seating preferences has been tackled and the continuation bets that display in the HUD have been fixed.

A number of new statistics have been introduced in Version 2.0.0.6708, beginning with ones that were requested by users: VPIP/PFR and Skipped Cbet River along with Check-Raise Out of Position (CR OOP). IP/OOP stats have been added for single raised and 3bet pots. Small Blind versus Re-Steal statistics and Turn C-bet success percentage in a single raised pot have been added. Skipped Cbet stats are also available.

Import issues related to Merge tournaments and problems with hand histories being overwritten have been resolved. For tournaments, the difficulties dealing with commas and decimal points for buy-ins is no longer an issue, and PokerStars rebuy tournaments are now fully recognized by the software. Incomplete tournaments can now be hidden from graphs and the tournament filter has been fixed.

There are also a multitude of fixes that deal with HM2 filters and the hand history replayer. The great thing about the Holdem Manager development staff is that they maintain an open line of communication with everyday users of the program in order to ensure that problems are addressed and resolved as quickly as possible.

For those who have never used Holdem Manager 2, it features a unique "ribbon" system that when combined with other applications such as Note Caddy can give online poker players unprecedented statistical information in order to maximize win rates when competing at the virtual tables.

HM2 comes complete with a free, fully featured trial package so new users can test the software out before committing to a full purchase. The one-time fee for buying HM2 is $89.99 for the Pro Version, which includes all games and stakes, or $59.99 for the Small-Stakes Version, which has the capacity to track lower stakes games and tournaments. Omaha players can take advantage of the Hold'em and Omaha combo package for a one-time payment of $149.99.
